Tax Consultant

Location: Jesmond & Chester-le-Street

Employment type: Full-time (36.5 hours) – Part-time considered

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 FTE

Join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of bespoke tax advisory. With a growing portfolio of diverse clients, my client is looking for two experienced and motivated individuals to join their Tax Advisory team. You’ll be involved in delivering tailored tax solutions across a range of personal and business tax matters, either independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a variety of bespoke tax advisory projects
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments
  • Provide expert guidance while balancing client needs and business objectives
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and marketing strategies
  • Stay informed on tax legislation and continue to develop your technical and soft skills
  • Help drive a culture of learning, development, and high performance
Qualifications
  • CTA qualified or qualified by experience (minimum 3 years advising clients)
  • PQE desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and exceed expectations
  • Comfortable identifying opportunities to support both client success and business growth
