We drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives that enhance our international tax environments. By collaborating across functions, we help maintain the organisation’s growth and integrity on a global scale.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

As Manager, you will lead complex tax reporting activities across multiple regions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver process enhancements and ensure regulatory compliance. You will support corporate tax accounting, review reconciliations, and sign off on tax notes for statutory accounts. In this role, you will mentor team members, provide training, and contribute strategic insights to high‑impact projects. You will also act as a key point of contact between leadership and the broader finance function, supporting the organisation’s financial outcomes and growth.

What you offer
  • Experience in a comparable Manager position within an accountancy firm, with post‑qualification experience in an in‑house tax reporting function
  • Strong technical expertise in UK tax
  • Background in corporate tax for large organisations and consolidated groups, including tax accounting and compliance
  • Exposure to European (non‑UK) tax accounting and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Highly ambitious, energetic, and committed to professional growth
  • Solid financial and risk control skills
  • Adaptable to ongoing business changes, with excellent communication abilities

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

  • 26 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary caregivers along with 12 days of paid transition leave upon return to work and 6 weeks’ paid leave for secondary caregivers
  • Paid fertility leave for those undergoing or supporting fertility treatment
  • 2 days of paid volunteer leave and donation matching
  • Access to a wide range of salary sacrificing options
  • Benefits and initiatives to support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing including comprehensive medical and life insurance cover
