Job summary

A machinery service company in London is seeking a skilled Engineer to carry out maintenance and repairs on equipment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read mechanical drawings, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards. This role involves routine UK-wide travel, overtime, and participation in an on-call rota. A clean driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical drawings.
• Problem/fault finding capability.
• Prioritise and plan work schedule in advance with Service Co-ordinator.
• Communicate precisely both in writing and verbally.
• Work from own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Work as a team member as required on multi-person activities.
• Maintain smart appearance.
• Participate in on-call rota and shift system.
• Work overtime & travel as and when business requires.
• Maintain a full clean driving license.
• Operate company Service Management system.

• Install or commission equipment as instructed.
• Carry out all work in accordance with company procedures and standards.

Essential Requirements

Location

• London - within 45 mins of Heathrow Airport
• Routine UK wide travel and occasional overseas
