We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Graduate to join our Sustainability team in September 2026. Our two‑year graduate scheme is designed to develop our future talent by giving you real responsibility from day one. You'll join a forward‑thinking, fast‑paced Sustainability team who will support you throughout with structure training, exciting projects and invaluable industry experience. During your time on programme, you'll gain exposure to Finance, Procurement, Fleet, Energy, Waste and Evri's supply chain to give you a wide breadth of experience across ESG. You'll also have the opportunity to gain IEMA Associate Membership alongside your day‑to‑day responsibilities.

- You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of the ESG Strategy through data collection and analysis, supply chain engagement, reporting, communications, and ESG project enablement.
- You'll work alongside internal and external key stakeholders
- You'll support delivery through stakeholder engagement, stakeholder management, data management and be accountable for providing best practice recommendations to drive positive ESG changes.
- You build your understanding of the impact of key issues for business relating to climate change and sustainability, and apply your knowledge every day
- You'll be accountable for project management and collation of ESG information for internal reporting
- You'll proactively request and action feedback from project and wider business stakeholders
- You'll produce reports from information linked with ESG reporting and internal KPIs that help drive target setting for ESG related projects.
- You'll be a link for the ESG function and communication teams to positively promote reporting and ensure a consistent narrative is being portrayed.
- You'll conduct market research to identify new innovations and opportunities, including ESG / decarbonisation improvements
- You'll proactively approach business areas to better understand own knowledge and influence recommendations for the ESG strategy and projects
- You'll prepare key analysis and documentation to support influencing stakeholders on recommended areas for change / improvement
- You'll review data collected from around the business to assess the completeness of projects and monitor the accuracy of the information to support the development of 'value added' insights for external reporting.
- You'll document and create a library of processes and lessons learnt so that our suppliers can share experiences and lessons from our ESG journey.
What you'll need to become a Sustainability Graduate:
- GCSE English and Maths grades A*-C/ 9-4
- A minimum of 2:1 degree in Environmental Science/ Management, Sustainability, Geography, Business Management, STEM or Economics
- Strong analytical, reporting and KPI Management
- Experience of working with teams and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Demonstrable communication and relationship building skills
- Willingness to learn, curious and resilient
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to balance and prioritise competing work tasks
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and MS Office
- Full clean UK driving licence
