Job Opportunity: Male Support Worker – Supported Living Service
Location: North Tyneside, NE29
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends)

We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Male Support Workers to join our Supported Living team in a brand-new service supporting an individual with complex needs.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver person-centred support to an individual with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication.
  • Encourage independence and support the individual to achieve their personal goals.
  • Promote social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential – full training is provided.
  • A caring, patient, and respectful approach.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid UK driving licence is a plus but not essential.
