A leading care provider in the UK is seeking dedicated Support Workers in Hetton-le-Hole to provide assistance and emotional support. The role entails promoting health and well-being, facilitating social activities, and respecting individuality. Suitable candidates should be enthusiastic and compassionate, aiming to empower individuals in achieving their goals while providing dignified care and support.
We are looking for Support Workers covering days, evenings, nights and weekends in Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear.
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.
Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We specialise in residential care, supported living and outreach services supporting people with autism and learning difficulties. We constantly strive to provide homes with a relaxed atmosphere that promotes individuality, giving each person we support the right to dignity, choice, privacy and independence.
We champion the integration of people into the community, by using local facilities such as shops, cafes, libraries, public houses and leisure centres – drawing on public and private transport for outings or holidays.

The Role

You will be required to undergo relevant pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Each person is supported by a trained and empathetic care team to take part in a program of activities that incorporates daily living skills such as money and communication skills, to hobbies and interests such as gardening and football. It is a core principle is to make every moment matter for those who not only use our services, but call All Saints their home.
