Children's Residential Care Worker

Location: Rowton, SY5, Shropshire

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Working hours per week: 40

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly rate: £12.69 - £13.31 per hour (DOE)
  • Salary (annual average): £26,395.20 to £27,684.80 + £3,000 sleep‑in bonus
  • Overtime paid at 1.25
  • Sleep‑in shifts: £3,000 per annum (up to 10 shifts/month)

What You’ll Do
  • Support young people in their daily routines, including school preparation, activities and meal times.
  • Create a warm, homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
  • Build relationships and provide emotional support during both highs and lows.
  • Participate in fun, meaningful activities like trips to the park, board games or movies.
  • Complete essential planning and documentation.
