Job summary

A leading support organization in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an Experienced Autism Support Worker to support residents with independence and life skills. You will work 40 hours per week during night shifts, assisting with daily activities and personal care, and supporting the development of person-centered plans. Salary: £12.31 per hour

Contract: Permanent 40 hours per week

Essential: Experience in an Autism Support setting and managing challenging behaviour is essential

Shifts: 9:45 pm to 7:30 am, including some weekends

Support Worker duties
  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills.
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies.
  • Assisting with the development of person‑centred plans for our residents.
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities.
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments.
  • Providing personal care where needed, always working toward more.
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development.
