Support Worker - White Lion Road, Little Chalfont, Amersham

Part Time - 22.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our vibrant supported living service at White Lion Road, where six individuals with learning disabilities live independently in their own self-contained flats, supported 24/7.

This is more than just a job - it is a chance to empower others to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Support Worker, you will be a key part of a compassionate team, providing one-to-one personalised support. Your role will include:

  • Creating and implementing tailored support plans
  • Encouraging independence through everyday life skills like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Delivering personal care with respect and sensitivity
  • Contributing to risk assessments and management plans
  • Supporting new team members through induction and mentoring
  • Helping individuals pursue their goals and aspirations
What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking someone with experience in care or support work, who brings a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

You will also need to:

  • Communicate clearly and adapt to individual needs
  • Be flexible and reliable, with availability for shifts including weekends and bank holidays
  • Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work

Please note: Sleep-ins are part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.
