The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced Fabrication – Supervisor to join our HME team on a permanent 8/6 roster (days only), FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Superintendent - HME, this is responsible for the supervision of Leading Hands, tradespersons, contractors, apprentices, trainees and other department personnel.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:
  • Supervising delivery of the weekly maintenance plan and breakdown repairs.
  • Providing direction, support, and on-the-job training to Leading Hands and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance documentation, including requisitions, work orders, and backlog records.
  • Maintaining CMS (SAP) workflows aligned with the HME RACI model.
  • Driving continuous improvement.
  • Reviewing safe work procedures and submitting recommendations to the Superintendent.
  • Auditing and maintaining workshop tools and equipment to required standards.
  • Overseeing the development and review of JHEAs in line with site and statutory requirements.
  • Promoting a safe and efficient work environment through leadership, inspections, SWOs, and Good to Go processes.
  • Prioritising and allocating repair tasks in line with maintenance schedules and breakdown demands.
Successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ practical knowledge and experience in maintaining HME.
  • Current Western Australian HR Driver’s Licence.
  • Working at heights training certificate and FL & EWP preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience with proven effective people management skills.
  • Ability to act as a strong and positive example to the workforce.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership.
