About the Role

We’re recruiting a Student Records & Achievement Officer who’s passionate about the effective and accurate running of the University’s student information and assessment processes.

Working within the Student Records & Achievement (SRA) team, you’ll help support students throughout the entire academic journey, from enrolment through to graduation, and you’ll assist with timely resolution of student and staff queries.

You’ll collaborate across academic departments and professional services to deliver a professional, reliable service, with a regular on campus presence during key points in the academic cycle.

About You

The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills, enjoy working with data and systems, and take pride in getting the details right. You will be a proactive team player who communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience of working with a recognised Student Records Database and/or similar software
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and data quality standards, with a sound understanding of GDPR and safe record keeping.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and a customer focused approach.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines in a fast paced environment.

It’s a bonus (but not essential) if you have:

  • Experience of working in the of the Higher Education sector.
  • Experience with SITS:Vision / e:Vision (or a similar student records system).
  • Awareness of current HE policy and practice

This is a permanent, full time, 35 hours a week position across Monday-Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm.
