Job summary

A UK engineering company is seeking a Design Engineer to work in Tees Valley. The role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications and company procedures while delivering high-quality structural designs. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering and at least 2 years of experience. Familiarity with design software such as Autodesk Inventor and Tekla is required. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a design engineer.
  • Awareness of structural engineering codes (DNV, Lloyds & EC3).
  • Experience with mechanical & structural design analysis software.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in delivering projects following specifications and safety.
  • Review and approve mechanical/structural drawings.
