Job summary

A leading defense contractor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Compliance & Assurance Specialist to oversee supplier compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards. This role involves conducting audits, managing supplier performance through KPIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5+ years of relevant experience are required. The position offers an opportunity to significantly influence product quality and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in defence, manufacturing quality, supplier compliance, or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of ISO standards including 9001, OSHA regulations, DEFSTANs, DEFCONs, JSPs.
• Experience with defence contracts, supplier audits, CAPA management, and risk-based supplier evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor contractual obligations to ensure adherence to ISO 9001, OSHA, and industry-specific standards.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments; ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain compliance records and prepare compliance reports and risk assessments for management.
