Stores Person

Logic Fire & Security are looking to employ a Stores Person to join our team. You’ll oversee and carry out the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all materials in our busy stores division. If you have experience in running or managing a stores operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate stock control and smooth workflow throughout the goods in and goods out process we’d like to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, inspection, booking‑in, and accurate recording (in Simpro) of all incoming goods; organise and store materials correctly with clear labelling and stock rotation, and maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised stores
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing goods for timely and accurate dispatch, while ensuring the returns process is followed promptly and correctly
  • Complete regular cycle counts, maintain accurate stock control, and liaise with procurement as required
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock control, storage layout, and overall process efficiency
Qualifications
  • Experience managing stores/warehouse operations, covering both goods‑in and goods‑out processes, with strong knowledge of inventory control and materials management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the stores function
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment
Base Pay Range

£24,762.00 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
