The Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital in Impington is currently recruiting for multiple roles including this.

Sterile Services Assistant to join the SSD team and work under general supervision, with opportunity to make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, sorting, inspecting, cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, preparing, sterilizing, storing, and issuing reusable surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist the multi‑disciplinary theatre team to provide exemplary care by ensuring theatre and endoscopy instrumentation and equipment are correct and ready for use.
• Monitor repairs of instruments.
