A leading healthcare provider in Lamlash is seeking a motivated Special Care Dental Nurse. The role involves providing chair side assistance, managing dental reception duties, and maintaining decontamination standards in the clinic. Applicants must be registered with the General Dental Council and hold relevant dental nursing qualifications. This part-time position offers a minimum of 22.2 hours up to 29.6 hours weekly, with flexibility in scheduling. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

An opportunity has arisen for 1x Special Care Dental Nurse at Lamlash, Isle of Arran.
We require a motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can work well within the team. You will be required to provide full chair side assistance to the clinician, carry out dental reception duties and decontamination duties within the Local Decontamination Units and within the dental surgery.
You must be registered with the General Dental Council and hold the National Certificate in Dental Nursing or Oral Health Care Dental Nursing SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have a current portfolio of Continuing Professional Development.
You should have excellent organisational skills, be highly motivated, and be able to prioritise workload, have excellent communication skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Experience and knowledge of dental software packages is desirable.
A minimum 22.2 hours up to 29.6 hours per week, days and hours can be confirmed at interview.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
