Are you a dedicated practitioner with a passion for supporting pupils with SEND? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SRP Teacher to join our school community. Our Specialist Resource Provision sits at the very heart of the school and has an autism designation, supporting up to 18 pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will be supported by a strong and committed team of support staff, to meet the needs of all our pupils.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about making a real difference, delivering high‑quality inclusive education, and working collaboratively to support pupils to thrive.

Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching underpinned by strong pedagogy and evidence-based practice
  • Adapt and personalise the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with learning and communication needs
  • Confidently use and promote a Total Communication approach (e.g. AAC, visual supports, signing, symbols)
  • Lead, direct and deploy support staff effectively to maximise pupil outcomes, including developing and overseeing interventions
  • Take responsibility for creating and maintaining a safe, structured and engaging classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary and supportive team
  • Use assessment effectively to inform planning and next steps
  • Take responsibility for overseeing the statutory processes for identified children within the SRP, overseeing Annual Reviews, maintaining provision plans and liaising with external professionals.
  • Share expertise with the wider school staff through in‑reach
