The award winning One Spa has an exciting opportunity for a Spa Therapist. There are both full and part time contracts available, all contracts require evening and weekend work.
Regarded as Europe’s most advanced city spa, One Spa at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh, is a natural balance of energy, water and heat in a beautiful, light‑filled space. The philosophy at One Spa is all-encompassing; down to the smallest details the Spa is designed to comfort, pamper and relax.
Our ideal candidate is already qualified with an HND in Beauty Therapy or similar and you will ideally have sampled some work experience in this field of work.
You will be offered extensive training; we work with top product ranges including ESPA and Temple Spa. We offer a wide range of treatments such as massage, facials, hot stone treatments, body treatments and pre‑natal treatments. You will be required to take on board the holistic ambience projected in the spa.
You will have day‑to‑day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment areas and assist with demonstrations/events as required. You will also have daily responsibility for your retail sales, treatments and upselling.
You will also supervise and conduct the safety of users and equipment and receive training to ensure that all relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at Work Law and Health and Hygiene standards are implemented and monitored.
