About this job

The South East Region is seeking Team Support Workers.

Applications from candidates with a good understanding and experience of working with finance and personnel matters are sought. The role will include the provision of administrative support to a number of staff, lay member committees and more generally for the Region. Candidates must have a good knowledge of committee administration, general office practice and procedures and experience of working with finance and data systems. Duties include inputting and extracting data from membership and other data systems, processing financial data and invoices and generating reports, agenda preparation and committee administration and drafting and producing communications.

You should have good telephone and communication skills and be able to deal with complaints and other issues in a sensitive and positive manner. You will also need to be able to work in a team environment.

Candidates should also have excellent administrative, secretarial, communication and ICT skills to succeed, in addition to having the confidence to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team.

An understanding of Trade Unions and their objectives would be an advantage, but not essential
