Sanity Content Agent combines AI with structured content—an intelligent assistant that understands each customer’s content model, follows references, and blends web research with internal content knowledge in a single conversation. We leverage a scaled Content Lake to provide rich context tailored to each customer.

Your team will push the boundaries of what\'s possible when AI truly understands content: auditing thousands of documents in seconds, surfacing inconsistencies, and generating perfectly structured documents that respect complex validation rules. You will shape AI capabilities that turn hours of content work into minutes, balancing the technical challenges of LLM integration and agentic workflows with product sensibility to ensure AI that content teams trust.

Responsibilities will evolve with the product, and you\'ll collaborate with product management and design to facilitate scalable teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams to own strategy, roadmap, and execution in collaboration with product managers and designers.
• Help teams organize and prioritize work for maximum impact.
• Balance technical excellence with shipping velocity in a fast-moving environment.
• Drive development in a product/SaaS context with a focus on developer experience and accessibility for non-technical content creators.
• Influence the direction of Sanity and modern web development and content operations.
• Work with Head of Engineering and leadership across product management and design to establish scalable processes.
• Support the growth and development of team members.
• Lead a team based in London or Oslo, with at least 2-3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of engineering management experience and 4+ years of engineering experience, ideally in developer tools or content platforms.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in product direction.
• Working knowledge of prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and techniques for improving model reliability.
• Understanding of embedding models, vector search, and grounding AI outputs in structured data.
• Ability to distinguish AI capabilities that genuinely solve user problems from those that merely demo well.
• Track record of shipping user-facing products at scale.
• Experience leading teams building complex, extensible applications.
• Ability to understand software architecture design considerations.
• Location: Based in London or Oslo, with in-office presence 2-3 days per week.
