A leading residential care provider in Gloucester is looking for Social Care Workers to provide essential personal care and support to residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. The role includes shift work, covering weekends, and offers extensive training to new staff. Salary:£12.25 to £12.25Annum (Salary based on a 48-hour contract. A higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care)

Springfield House is a large, modern home in a residential setting, two miles from Gloucester City centre. The home supports up to seven women with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. The detached property is in an ideal location, providing a safe and supportive environment, but with easy access to the city centre and its amenities, including Gloucester Leisure Centre, local colleges, Gloucester Docks and the busy town centre. Springfield has a large communal lounge next to the dining room, which encourages communication and promotes a friendly sociable atmosphere. The large dining area also acts as a space for activities and hobbies, such as dancing and pottery, which are run by external providers. It leads onto a patio at the back of the garden, with steps down to a lawn area - perfect for picnics during the summer.
