Working Hours

Working 5 days a week, between 07:00-18:00. Days of working are negotiable, flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing times are flexible. To start asap.

Home / Hybrid Working Consideration

Applications for home or hybrid working will be considered for this post in accordance with East Lothian Council's Home Working and Worksmart Policies. Employees will be expected to attend Council offices for induction and be on site in East Lothian workplaces as required. Hybrid workers will be office based and may work from home on an ad hoc basis. All home/hybrid workers must live in the UK and are subject to a satisfactory trial period.

Job Details

Facilitate establishment and delivery of a range of core qualifications and training to staff within the Health and Social Care Partnership, and a Foundation Apprenticeship in Social Services and Healthcare within East Lothian secondary schools, with oversight of Assessors/Verifiers. Promote learning and achievement, including associated activities related to preparation, delivery, and assessment of training materials.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications:

  • Educated to a minimum of SCQF level 9 in Social Services and Healthcare.

  • Evidence of engagement in Continued Professional Learning (CPL).
Driving Licence

Must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle. If a disability precludes obtaining a licence, reasonable adjustments will be considered.

PVG Membership

Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults. Must become a PVG Scheme member or update prior to formal offer. PVG records are continuously updated.

Background Checks
