Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Holywell is seeking shunters to join their team. You will safely operate HGV Class 1 and Shunt Vehicles while ensuring all goods are securely strapped. If we have ticked your boxes then read on. We are currently building a new team of drivers for our partnership with Kingspan at our depot in Holywell.

We are looking for shunters. The salary is £30,700 per year, and you will be working 4 on 4 off. 12-hour shifts, with Christmas and Bank Holidays off! You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and ongoing training including annual CPC and many other perks. 28 days holiday plus bank Holidays.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will safely drive our HGV Class 1 and Shunt Vehicles in a courteous manner.
• Cover "Shunting" requirements on our customer's site.
• Make sure all goods are correctly strapped before commencing journeys.
• Drive the latest equipment and operate to safety standards.
• Collect backload where required.
• Safely operate our vehicle delivering Kingspan products.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Valid LGV C+E Licence.
• An up-to-date CPC and DIGI card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence.
