A Production Supervisor ensures the smooth running of processes on a production floor. Their duties include overseeing the management of resources with overall responsibility of driving performance management, including routine production activities, troubleshooting and solving issues that arise on the production floor whilst ensuring a safe and clean production workspace.

Key Accountabilities
- Create and execute the daily production schedule.
- Plan and coordinate resources, raw materials and staff to ensure production is carried out smoothly and effectively.
- Lead, motivate and direct the production workforce.
- Monitor and review team capability, ensuring all staff focus on key objectives and are developed to maximise their potential.
- Ensure sufficient qualified staff are available for jobs and that they are trained appropriately.
- Liaise with maintenance to ensure all equipment is in working order and maintained.
- Facilitate communication within Production and across the business to drive efficiency.
- Update and analyse daily KPI metrics, report deviations, develop action plans and investigate root causes.
- Challenge and review processes, exploring continuous improvement techniques to reduce cost while maintaining quality and safety.
- Complete audit programmes, ensuring procedures are followed and non‑conformances are investigated and closed.
- Any other duties commensurate with the level of the role.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing/clean room environment desirable, especially knowledge of print‑head assembly, test processes and electromechanical assembly.
