Job summary

A leading construction firm in Bridgwater seeks a Sewerage Operator to maintain the sewerage network and provide excellent customer service. In this role, you will handle incidents including blockages and pollution, work in a team, and ensure safety standards are met. This is a fixed-term 2-year contract with various benefits like career progression, up to 28 days of holiday, and a combined pension contribution of up to 20%. A valid driving license is required, and a company vehicle will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience using single man jetting unit and CCTV equipment.
  • Willingness to undertake certification in sewerage operations.
  • Confined space and Streetworks certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the sewerage network to meet quality and customer service standards.
  • Resolve incidents such as blockages, pollution, and flooding.
  • Contribute to routine maintenance and reactive work.
