Job summary

A leading UK education provider is seeking a sessional teaching professional to inspire the next generation of childcare experts. The role involves delivering engaging education and support to T Level EY students. Candidates should have relevant childcare experience and qualifications. Job description

Are you looking for a role where you can inspire the next generation of childcare professionals?

Do you want to share your expertise and help learners achieve outstanding success?

This is an excellent opportunity to join us on a sessional basis, but with an expected guarantee of hours from February 23rd until approximately May on a 3-5 day per week basis. This will be supporting our T Level EY students, to complete their course. Most, if not all the delivery will be complete.

This exciting role will include:

  • Delivering engaging teaching and assessment across Childcare programmes, including T Levels.
  • Building strong partnerships with employers and learners to support achievement.
  • Providing tailored advice and guidance to help every learner thrive.
  • Managing your own caseload and ensuring timely completion of qualifications.

If you can demonstrate the following, then we'd love to hear from you:

  • Childcare industry experience and qualifications up to Level 3 (Level 5 desirable).
  • TAQA Assessor qualification (or equivalent) and ideally IQA qualification. (Desirable)
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills, with flexibility to travel.
  • For many of our teaching roles, we welcome applications from candidates at any stage of their career, including industry professionals with no/limited teaching experience. We offer teacher development and qualifications to help you succeed.

College location: Based at our Lewes Campus.

Annual salary: £29.31 - £45.16 per hour, including holiday rate. (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)

Hours: Variable with guaranteed between dates above.
