My client is currently looking for a Service Manager to join their team to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Service Department and coordinate a team of skilled engineers across designated regions in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

To lead and manage the service operations for mechanical handling equipment, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and customer support services. The Service Manager will oversee a team of engineers/technicians, coordinate service schedules, and maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Support in the planning and execution of engineer training and development.

Main Duties

  • Management of Engineering department and team.
  • Daily management of servicing and breakdowns.
  • Write up weekly/monthly service reports.
  • Monitor costs and revenue.
  • Deal with customer calls, queries, and relations.
  • Supply KPI's.
  • Attend in-house monthly departmental meetings.
