Service Engineer – Water Treatment

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is looking for a motivated, dependable and committed Service Engineer to join our Water Consultancy & Equipment team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service of water treatment equipment such as softeners, reverse osmosis units, ozone units, side stream filtration units, UV units, and dosing units including occasional water analysis, sampling and legionella screening
• Conduct fault‑finding and complete remedial works on water treatment equipment
• Provide clear and detailed service and water treatment reports, highlighting any problems or follow‑ups required for further action
• Ensure that service visits are completed within the allocated time
• Present yourself in a professional manner to clients at all times
• Work within the requirements of all current Health & Safety legislation
• Replace consumable spares as per the site maintenance schedules
• Travel as required, including away work, possible nights and weekend work

About the Water Consultancy & Equipment Team

Our team provides statutory water hygiene tasks, chemical and microbiological analysis of various systems such as cooling towers, domestic water systems and closed heating/chilled circuits. We manufacture our own equipment in‑house, fully supported by CAD schematics / Revit files, and supply clients with reverse osmosis units, water softeners, and filtration services. SOCOTEC UK is BIM Level 2 compliant.
