An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to fill the role of Service Coordinator In North and Mid Essex, focusing on the social inclusion element of the Futures Together service in Essex.

Futures Together is a commissioned service combining the expertise of two Essex Phoenix Futures services – the Criminal Justice service and the Social Inclusion service. Our team is committed to providing support and social inclusion opportunities for people who use our services, and across Essex to make a positive impact.

As Lived Experience Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for maximising opportunities, designing and delivering workshops for the people who use our services to reach their education and training goals.

The role will require fostering relationships in with local training and employment providers across Essex to secure new and meaningful training and employment opportunities, which will be agreed by conducting regular scoping exercises with the people who use our services to create a menu of supportive groups for services including Gypsy Roma Traveller, Carers and Families, and those in active addiction.

Role Purpose
  • To support and develop our peer mentor, volunteers, and lead on implementing recovery, and wellbeing focussed activities within an allocated locality of Essex.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong and effective partnerships within the community to promote and embed the Futures Together service.
  • To work in collaboration with the criminal justice element of the Futures Together service to support people with complex and multiple needs.
  • Innovate, implement, and facilitate recovery, and social inclusion groups within North and Mid Essex.
  • To complete administrative tasks,including database maintenance, maintenance of accurate client’s information.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced service and be flexible to changes plans at short notice.

The role offers a work schedule of 30 hours per week, allowing for autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support. We are seeking a motivated and community focused individual who is enthusiastic about social inclusion and committed to supporting others.

  • Starting salary of £19,709(£24,637 FTE) per annum, pro rata. With the opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal.
