TGG is looking for a Senior Video Production Manager who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end production lifecycle of all video content, from concept to final delivery, with a strong emphasis on performance-based ads for paid social channels and in-house UGC. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage diverse talent to ensure high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Oversee the entire video production process, including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Line manage, mentor, and inspire a team of in-house UGC content creators and video editors, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Content Strategy & Development: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to define video goals, target audiences, and messaging strategies, with a focus on optimizing content for performance on platforms like TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and YouTube.
- Shoot Organisation & Logistics: Plan and coordinate all aspects of shoots for ads, including scheduling, booking locations, sourcing equipment, and managing internal and external crews and freelance actors.
- Freelancer & Stakeholder Liaison: Build and manage complex relationships with external suppliers, agencies, and a network of freelance actors and creators, negotiating costs and ensuring deliverables meet quality and brand standards.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and forecast production budgets effectively, ensuring all projects are completed within allocated funds and timelines.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all video output maintains high-quality standards, adheres to brand guidelines, and complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, copyright laws, and insurance terms.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize data and audience insights to analyze video performance metrics, refining future content strategies and maximizing audience engagement and ROI.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with current video content trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and social media advertising to maintain an innovative approach.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in video production and content management, with a portfolio of high-performing video projects.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in managing creative teams and project execution.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in video production techniques, equipment, and editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Creative Vision: A strong creative sense and storytelling ability.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of social media platforms, their trends, and paid social advertising practices.
Desirable Qualifications
- A degree in a related field such as film production or marketing.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with social media performance analytics and video SEO.
