About you
  • You will have proven experience working in a Transport Planning consultancy and be comfortable presenting ideas and project work to Clients.
  • You will have a minimum of 8 years relevant post graduate experience and good knowledge of transport planning policy, principles and standards, particularly those required for development planning, travel planning and active travel based projects.
  • You will ideally have or be working towards becoming a Chartered Transport Planning Professional/Chartered Engineer certified by the Engineering Council.
  • You will have strong practical knowledge of Linsig, Junctions 9 and preferably experience of using TRACC/similar.
  • You will have a strong understanding of relevant local and national policy and guidance.

  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Have a pragmatic approach and possess strong problem-solving techniques

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels with clients and employees alike and across all professional disciplines
  • Able to manage Client expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
