Senior Support Worker

Location: Birmingham

Pay: Pay Up to £34,779 (depending on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do
  • As aSenior Support Workeryou will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
  • Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
  • Lead shift and deputise home manager
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
  • Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
  • Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where you'll do it

Our home has the most amazing children who make every day great for us , our team is a long-standing core team who some have been here 10 years plus! We are all funny caring and passionate! We are a diverse home and we aim to make it safe for all in our beautiful home,

We have 3 amazing boys! 12, 16 & 16.

Our youngest loves everything & anything he loves cinema , Disney, singing and dancing so we ready for that.

Our older boys love visiting new cities and trying food they love boxing , football and xbox hopefully you can beat them on fifa as none of us has been able too yet.

Our boys are funny, tricksters, loving.

We go to team meetings, team building and all work hard and support with work and outside of work too.

We have weekly meetings with our boys to get their views and we do lots of activities with them

Who You Are

Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager - focused on achieving outcomes for others.

Driver with full UK driving licence, hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and two years working experience in a residential setting.
