As part of this growth, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join their team.

Reporting to: Managing Director

As SENIOR SALES MANAGER you will play a key role in driving business growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will be responsible for promoting the company’s high quality joinery products and solutions, working closely with clients such as Interior Designers, Main Contractors, Developers, Fit Out Companies, Construction Companies & Architects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach, train, and mentor team members to enhance performance, develop sales skills, and support professional growth.
  • Lead and facilitate regular team meetings and one‑on‑one sessions to review performance, provide feedback, and align on strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and quotations.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, research accounts, and identify key players.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Maintain and expand your database.
  • Seek out active sites and make the necessary contacts to win enquiries and ultimately secure the business.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, supported by practical experience in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Experience within the building supply trade essential.
  • General construction knowledge essential and knowledge of the construction sector.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Customer‑focused with sound commercial skills.
  • Good IT skills, PC literate, and experience with Microsoft Outlook.
