• Effective report writing skills required.
• Knowledge and awareness of models of health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Support the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children.
• Provide specialist advice and support regarding Safeguarding Children.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate training programmes.

Skills

Advanced interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of the law relating safeguarding children

Knowledge of Government guidance and policies relating to safeguarding children

Ability to communicate sensitive and complex information

Excellent organisational skills

Education

Ongoing continuous professional development

Qualification in teaching/training (e.g., ENB 998 / City & Guilds 730)
