Job description
About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our London Talent Acquisition team, specialising in experienced hires across FDM’s five practice areas:

  • Software Engineering
  • Change & Transformation
  • Data & Analytics
  • IT Operations
  • Risk & Compliance

This is a high-impact role where you will partner with Practice Leads, Delivery Managers, and Account Managers to identify workforce needs, translate technical specifications into clear candidate profiles, and deliver top-tier talent.

The role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in technology, the ability to assess technical and professional skills, and the ambition to grow into a commercially focused career — with the option to move into client-facing sales or account management in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for experienced hires: job scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Practice Leads, and Delivery Managers to identify and prioritise hiring needs.
  • Translate client briefs and technical requirements into targeted candidate profiles.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including headhunting, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking.
  • Build and maintain specialist talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and emerging roles across all five practices.
  • Guide candidates through interview preparation, technical assessments, and onboarding.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Report on recruitment KPIs and provide market insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for FDM, promoting our values, culture, and career opportunities.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary with performance-related bonus.
  • Hybrid working model (London HQ with flexibility).
  • Career progression opportunities, including pathways into account management or sales.
  • Ongoing training and development in recruitment, technology, and commercial skills.
  • Collaborative, diverse, and dynamic environment.
  • Opportunity to directly impact the growth of FDM’s consultancy delivery team.
About You

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven track record in recruitment, ideally within technology or professional services.
  • Strong sourcing experience, including advanced techniques for engaging passive candidates.
  • Knowledge across technology domains, with an appetite to specialise in one or more of FDM’s practice areas.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and assess candidate fit.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working to KPIs and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial mindset with interest in career progression into sales/account management.

Desirable:

  • Experience recruiting for consultancy or professional services firms.
  • Established network of technology professionals in the UK market.
