A leading energy technology company seeks a driven individual in Newcastle upon Tyne to lead commercial operations for Hydrogen Power Unit projects. The role involves managing resources, overseeing billing, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure project success. Candidates should hold a degree in engineering or a related field, with recognized project management qualifications, and possess strong leadership and commercial project management skills. The position offers opportunities for continuous learning and contributions to innovative energy solutions.
Imagine leading the charge in Siemens Energy’s New Business Fields, where you’ll drive the commercial and technical management of Hydrogen Power Unit (HPU) projects. You’ll coordinate resources, manage project scope, and make decisive calls to keep everything on track—ensuring delivery meets schedule, budget, and quality targets. As you build strong partnerships with Geopura and internal teams, you’ll foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and mentorship. Your day will be filled with dynamic problem‑solving, hands‑on leadership, and opportunities to shape the future of sustainable energy solutions.
You’ll join a passionate group based at the Newcastle Service Centre, reporting directly to the Head of Centre and working closely with senior customers, Geopura, and internal teams up to Country VP level. The team is committed to delivering innovative HPU solutions, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of trust and cooperation. Collaboration is at the heart of everything they do, with regular stakeholder meetings and a strong focus on mentoring and training. Together, you’ll champion new technologies and support the wider facility’s growth, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
