Job summary

A UK-based water treatment solutions provider is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their expanding team. The role involves nationwide installations and maintenance of filtration equipment, as well as servicing chemical dosing systems. Successful candidates must have proven experience in the swimming pool/water treatment industry and knowledge of PWTAG guidelines. Additional benefits include accommodation for travel, company van, and ongoing training opportunities.

As industry leaders in commercial swimming pool plant room automation, water treatment, and filtration systems, we work with councils, leisure centres, schools, and private clients across the UK.

We're recruiting an experienced senior engineer to join our dynamic, fast-growing team. We're expanding rapidly and looking for talented engineers who want to be part of something big.

Location

North West UK / Nationwide

Main Duties
  • Carry out new plant room installations nationwide
  • Installation and maintenance of filtration equipment including pumps, filters, UV systems
  • Service and maintain chemical dosing and water treatment systems
  • Fault diagnosis and repair on plant room automation systems
  • Commission new installations and refurbishment projects
  • Carry out site surveys and produce technical reports
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Ensure all work is completed to PWTAG standards
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in the swimming pool/water treatment industry
  • Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification or significant relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of PWTAG guidelines
  • IT literate with good organisational skills
Required Characteristics
  • Reliable, ambitious, and self-motivated
  • Able to work unsupervised and lead by example
  • Willing to work away from home with regular stay aways required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Company van, tablet, and mobile phone
  • Accommodation and subsistence paid for stay aways
