Job description
Senior Outbound Business Development Manager

📍 London, United Kingdom (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office)

💰 £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits + uncapped commission (£90–120k OTE)

Note: We will begin the hiring process for this position in the New Year. Thank you for your interest and understanding. You can expect to hear from us starting in the second week of January, regardless of the outcome.

With a recent strategic investment from Zurich Insurance and backing from the people behind Deliveroo, Zoopla, and Delivery Hero, we’re continuing to grow and evolve. Our journey has already been featured in The Economist, TechCrunch, and The Times—just to name a few.

A brief overview:

Our embedded financial benefits platform is already live and in use across the UK and internationally – supporting both employed and self‑employed workers with tools such as Earned Wage Access, fuel cards, savings solutions and practical financial benefits. Our customers include some of the world’s most recognisable workforce brands including Amazon, KFC, Just Eat, Deliveroo and Itsu.

We are now hiring a senior outbound operator to scale our reach across UK employers with 200–1,000 employees in labour‑intensive sectors.

This is not an entry‑level SDR role. This is for someone who knows how to prospect, qualify and book meetings at volume without hand‑holding.

Your mission:

Generate a high volume of qualified meetings with UK employers who employ large numbers of frontline, hourly or operational workers and work the top of the funnel end to end. You’ll be selling a credible, proven solution, not a concept.

You’ll primarily engage HR, Reward, People, Finance and Operations leaders across sectors such as:

  • Logistics, couriers, delivery, warehousing & 3PL
  • Hospitality, food service & contract catering
  • Cleaning facilities management & security
  • Construction & infrastructure
  • Health, care & social services
  • Retail, supermarkets & passenger mobility.
What you will do:
  • Run high‑output outbound prospecting (LinkedIn, email, phone)
  • Identify and engage senior stakeholders in target accounts
  • Book genuinely qualified meetings, not calendar fillers.
  • Manage follow‑ups, pipelines and CRM hygiene independently
  • Confidently articulate:
    • Financial wellbeing and employee benefits value cases
    • Payroll‑linked and embedded finance solutions
    • Buyer concerns around cost, complexity and rollout.
You will need:
  • Proven experience in outbound B2B sales or business development
  • Have sold into HR, Reward, People, Finance or Operations functions
  • Experience with employee benefits, financial wellbeing, payroll or embedded finance products.
  • Are used to being measured on meetings booked and commercial impact.
  • Can operate autonomously without heavy management.

🔎 Is This Role a Fit for You?

This role is a great match if you thrive on ownership, embrace ambiguity as a chance to grow, and celebrate small wins while keeping the big picture in sight. Most importantly, you believe there’s no ‘I’ in Onsi – we always win as a team.

This is not an entry‑level role and requires prior outbound sales experience. Candidates whose background is primarily inbound‑only or limited to highly structured, tightly scripted environments are unlikely to find this role a fit.
