The Role

We’re looking for a Senior National Account Manager – Private Label who’s excited to bring their skills and ideas to the table. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving strategic customer partnerships, delivering sustainable revenue and margin growth, ensuring our brands and private label propositions remain innovative, competitive, and market-leading across beer and beyond beer categories.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Account Leadership: Manage and grow key national retail accounts (e.g., major grocers, discounters, wholesalers) within the private label drinks category.
  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute joint business plans, negotiating annual trading terms, pricing, and promotional strategies in collaboration with clients.
  • New Business Development: Identify and secure new private label opportunities across existing and new customers to drive revenue growth.
  • Category & Market Insight: Leverage consumer, shopper, and market data to strengthen category performance and influence customer decision-making.
  • Innovation Management: Work closely with R&D, technical, and supply chain teams to develop products tailored to customer needs, from concept to launch.
  • Financial Accountability: Deliver against sales, margin, and profitability targets, with full ownership of forecasting, budgeting, marketing &/or quality assurance investment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of all private label initiatives.
  • Relationship Management: Build senior-level relationships across retail customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and mutual growth.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven track record in national account management or senior commercial roles within the FMCG/beverages sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the private label / own label drinks market and category dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating major customer contracts and building profitable relationships.
  • Commercially driven with excellent analytical, strategic planning, and presentation skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior client teams.
  • Experience managing complex P&Ls, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Minimum of 5 years FMCG Experience.

It’s a plus if you also have proven experience in the UK Off Trade – but it’s not required!
