Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant/Senior Support Worker to provide compassionate and practical support to residents. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while leading and mentoring the care team. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience of working as a Support Worker or Care Assistant within a mental health setting in the UK.
  • A strong understanding of mental health illness is necessary.
  • Experience of leading/mentoring other care assistants/support workers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to Support Workers.
  • Administer medication in line with policies and training.

Education

RQF/QCF/NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent experience
