Job description

The Senior Medical Education Manager will work within the SLT and will collaborate in effective decision‑making. The postholder will coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives across the department and will ensure the delivery, across all functions, of key performance indicators and outcomes. A crucial part of the role will be the effective and appropriate communication of the priorities, directives and decision‑making of the SLT and the engaging of all staff in delivery of these.

The postholder will support with the planning and oversight of all financial activity.

The postholder will have responsibility for the support of medical education services across a specific care group. This includes the provision of a comprehensive service, responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of professional teaching activities, training programmes, CPD, induction and skills training for medical students and resident doctors.
