Overview

Saffery LLP is seeking a Senior Manager or Manager – Partnership Specialist (Tax Services Group) to join our Tax Services Group. This role can be based at any of our offices in Bristol, Bournemouth, High Wycombe, Peterborough, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, or Inverness.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an existing portfolio of professional partnerships and connected partners, applying strong tax technical expertise and leadership to foster client relationships.
  • Provide compliance and advisory services for professional partnerships and related matters.
  • Support business development activities, including preparing tenders, proposals, and delivering presentations.
  • Mentor and develop team members interested in a partnership specialism, along with line management, work planning and performance feedback.
  • Participate in ongoing training, with opportunities to attend the firm’s annual tax conference and internal and external training sessions.
  • Deliver high-quality work and contribute to client satisfaction and growth of the partnership practice.
About You

The role would suit a qualified individual (for example ACA/ACCA/CTA) with several years post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong UK tax technical skills
  • Ability to analyse tax technical queries and provide robust advice and solutions
  • Project management skills: ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines and monitor budgets
  • Responsibility for the delivery and quality of work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A clear client focus with a commitment to building strong client relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to develop other team members
  • Business development experience
The Team

The Tax Services Group consists of over 110 employees spread across 8 office locations. The team delivers high-quality compliance and advisory services to a wide range of high-net-worth private clients, including those with UK and offshore interests, property owners, business owners, partnerships, and trusts.
