Job description
Overview

To champion, promote and deliver best‑in‑class earned media (PR) and influence strategies and activations, embedding St‑Germain and Martini into the cultural conversation and zeitgeist.

As Senior Manager, PR & Influence (Global), you’ll steward two iconic brands in the aperitif space—ST‑GERMAIN, the original elderflower liqueur, and MARTINI, the Italian standard‑bearer for vermouth and sparkling wines—within an entrepreneurial team reporting to the Global VP of Brand PR, Influence & Partnerships for the Bacardi portfolio. Your focus will be to develop PR & influencer strategies for local deployment, lead brand activations and campaigns, and manage evergreen activities for key markets worldwide.

About You

Experienced communicator with a track record in managing multiple stakeholders, confident self‑starter, and executor. You get things done, collaborate solution‑oriented, and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities
  • Champion pro‑mote and deliver earned media and influence strategy, plans, and execution that embed St‑Germain and Martini into the cultural conversation and hearts and minds of consumers.
  • Work within a dynamic Global Brand PR and Influence team creating best‑in‑class PR, global partnerships, and influence campaigns.
  • Lead global brand PR and influence for St‑Germain, including campaigns with talent and partnerships and developing plans for key markets (US, UK, France). Support Brand PR and influence for Martini as day‑to‑day partner reporting to a Global Director.
  • Steward across both brands for external and internal communications, ensuring messaging alignment, differentiation, and trade media strategies in collaboration with Corporate Comms and Commercial Leads.
  • Develop local deployment strategy and lead local executions of campaigns while managing evergreen PR & influence activities across key markets.
  • Lead multiple PR agency relationships across key markets and operate at senior level in a matrix global organisation.
  • Partner with Brand PR Leads, Global Brand Teams, and regional Brand Teams to lead the annual PR and influence strategy and activity calendar, goal‑setting, measurement, and evaluation.
  • Source and vet new brand partnership opportunities, lead execution, and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Develop annual plans with agencies to ensure a steady stream of media and influencer coverage year‑round, using creative press office plans to drive share of voice for St. Germain and Martini.
  • Develop and manage top‑tier influencer and talent relationships to support integrated brand campaigns.
  • Work closely with IAT to execute innovative activity that drives scale and impact.
  • Draft compelling press materials and brand narratives, develop key messaging, briefing, and media training for executives, brand ambassadors, and talent spokespersons. Work with Global Brand VP, Brand Directors, and Creative Directors on campaign development and IAT integration, messaging, project management, and budget management.
Skills
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in delivering culture‑defining PR, influencer, and comms work for portfolio brands, building awareness and allure.
  • Leader who is a doer, not a delegator—excels in cross‑functional execution, humor, and high sense of initiative.
  • Solid foundation with agency experience (required).
  • Willingness to travel and be present for activations across key markets.
  • Strong communicator capable of managing multiple stakeholders—including executives, brand spokespeople, A‑list talent, ambassadors, and influencers—to secure alignments and buy‑in.
  • Extensive network of talent, influencers, and global agency contacts for integrated campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional PR, digital and video communications, social and influencer strategy, culture marketing, and global partnerships.
  • Experience across European and AMEA markets (UK, France, Spain, U.A.E.) and understanding of PR & influence restrictions for dark markets. Strong media contacts are a plus.
Personal Qualities
  • True cultural connector: chronically online, pulse of culture, passionate about trends and creative work that meets business objectives.
  • Founder mentality: entrepreneurial spirit, self‑directed, autonomous, leading projects and reporting progress to cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong PR and influence experience (8+ years) with self‑driven, detail‑oriented, tenacious, creative, and articulate presence.
  • Gravitas, strong articulation, tenacity, creativity, self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and ability to connect dots and get things done.

  • People Agility: Deep ability to relate to people and navigate tough situations to harness collective performance.
  • Results Agility: Consistent delivery of results, inspiring teams, and building confidence.
  • Mental Agility: Think critically, solve complex problems, bring creativity to challenges.
  • Change Agility: Curiosity, experimentation, growth mindset, learning from experience.
