Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web solutions that meet client requirements. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, leveraging your expertise in PHP and WordPress alongside modern frameworks and technologies. Your contributions will help drive business growth and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Build, optimise, and maintain robust web applications and websites using PHP, WordPress, and related technologies.
• Back-End Development: Develop scalable server-side logic and APIs, ensuring seamless integrations with third-party systems.
• WordPress Expertise: Develop plugins, and core functionalities to meet unique project requirements, integrating with API’s and other systems.
• Code Review: Ensure the quality, consistency, and security of code by reviewing and testing contributions from other developers.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, provide guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into technical solutions that exceed expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency with PHP (Laravel and wordpress) and Python
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of Linux server administration and cloud hosting
• Comfortable with databases and writing SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

• Must be based in Northeast of England
