The cyber reinsurance market has been growing rapidly in recent years, making this an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding area. The analytics team is widely recognised in the industry for its expertise. The team provides clients with trusted advice across a broad range of areas, from natural and man-made catastrophes (including terrorism and cyber) to capital management and portfolio optimisation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your day could include:

  • Using cyber risk and reinsurance models to generate and present modelling output and portfolio insights for clients
  • Working closely with brokers and actuaries to support client relationships, including creating and delivering presentations, maintaining regular touchpoints, and understanding reinsurance needs
  • Supporting team efforts to develop, automate, and maintain global data sets and analytics offerings, with opportunities to take on ownership
  • Reviewing and stress-testing various cyber vendor models, contributing to the development of a consolidated view of the current modelling landscape
  • Collaborating with global colleagues to maintain a coordinated strategy and best practices
  • Staying up to date with developments in the cyber (re)insurance market and evolving cyber risk landscape
Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience with end-to-end catastrophe modelling
  • Familiarity with cyber catastrophe models (e.g. CyberCube, Moody's RMS, Guidewire) is advantageous but not essential
  • A passion for delivering value to clients
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply knowledge to novel challenges
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic, collaborative team
  • Capacity to manage significant workflow and respond quickly to clients' needs and priorities
  • Knowledge of a coding language (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL, R) is highly beneficial
