Job summary

A leading loss adjusting practice in the UK is seeking an experienced Property Claims Handler. You will manage a caseload of domestic and commercial property claims, ensuring exceptional customer service. The role offers flexible hybrid working conditions, allowing you to balance office and home work. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and experience in both commercial and domestic property claims.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling both Commercial and Domestic Property Claims.
  • Ability to work under pressure with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Manage own caseload of Property claims from start to finish.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Job description

An experienced Property Claims Handler is required to join an established and renowned Loss Adjusting Practice.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide an exceptional customer service
  • Manage own caseload of Domestic and Commercial Property claims cradle to grave. Act as a point of contact
  • Assist and work closely with your Team Manager as and when required
  • Handle complaints working with your Team Manager
  • Attend client meetings as and when required
  • Working hybrid, although this is totally flexible and can be worked around your individual circumstances.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
  • Experienced in handling both Commercial and Domestic Property Claims (all general perils)
  • A background providing an exceptional customer service taking pride in your excellent communication skills
  • The ability to step up in the absence of your Team Manager
  • Be organised and have the ability to work in a team as well as using your own initiative
  • Experienced in handling complaints
  • A background working in a targeted and pressured environment working towards KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Good IT skills, being able to use multiple systems
  • Be comfortable and happy to work on a hybrid basis (although days working in the office is offered on a very flexible basis as and when to suit your individual circumstances)
  • Industry qualifications, ideally a minimum of Cert CILA or working towards.
