Senior Architect | London

My client, an award‑winning architecture and sustainability practice based in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their small, dynamic team. They specialise in residential and mixed‑use developments, delivering design‑ and insight‑led place‑making for public and private sector clients.

The Role

The Senior Architect will lead projects from concept through completion, taking responsibility for:

• Design concepts and research (RIBA Stages 1–3) including sketching, diagrams, and sustainability‑led strategies
• Planning proposals and associated documentation
• Project delivery and coordination across RIBA Stages 4–6, including low‑carbon detailing and on‑site administration
• Supporting project bids and mentoring team members
• Contributing to practice initiatives, exhibitions, and industry events

Requirements

• ARB registered Architect with 10+ years UK experience post‑Part 3, including 3+ years on‑site
• Experience across all RIBA stages, leading projects from commencement to completion
• Proven ability to manage consultant teams (structural, MEP, specialist)
• Strong technical knowledge and job‑running/site experience
• Proficient in ArchiCAD 27, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent visual communication, presentation skills, and a proactive approach
• Interest in sustainable design, technical detailing, and materiality
