There will be regular one-to-one work with students, often with a particular student whose needs are laid out in an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). As well as supporting identified children within the classroom, you will be expected to join in and contribute to classroom activities with all children when appropriate. We are also seeking individuals who have the right skillset to work with students with a mixture of needs of complex learning needs both SEMH needs to specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia..You will need to be a team player and should be prepared to independently research relevant conditions and attend relevant training to support existing knowledge and experience.
