Qualifications

Are you passionate about transforming the futures of young people with special educational needs? This role gives you the chance to lead a team delivering Supported Internships programmes that combine classroom learning, functional skills, job coaching and real employer placements. The result? Learners gain the confidence and skills to step into meaningful, paid work.

You’ll line‑manage a Programme Coordinator, who supports Tutors, Job Coaches and Employer Engagement staff. Together, you’ll make sure the programme not only runs smoothly but also inspires learners to achieve their potential.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and support Programme Coordinators to deliver engaging, high‑quality programmes
  • Champion excellent teaching, functional skills delivery and job coaching standards
  • Track performance and outcomes, ensuring learners get the best possible experience
  • Build strong relationships with employers and referral partners to grow opportunities

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has experience managing staff within an education setting regulated by Ofsted
  • Brings an understanding of SEND or employment support (helpful, not essential)
  • May come from roles such as Curriculum Manager, SEND Lead, Centre Manager, Quality Manager or Deputy Head
