Bridgewater Primary School (Berkhamsted, HP4) is looking to appoint an inspiring and experienced SENDCO to join our dedicated team as a full-time member of the Senior Leadership Team.
You will lead on all aspects of SEND provision, including afternoon provision in our internal alternative setting, The Haven. As part of your role, you’ll deliver nurture-based teaching to small groups of SEN children and play a key part in our commitment to inclusion, equity, and the wellbeing of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership of SEND provision across the school
Teaching nurture groups of SEND pupils in the afternoons
Leading on statutory SEND paperwork and liaising with external agencies
Supporting and supervising SEND children at lunchtimes
Advising and delivering CPD for staff
